Formative assessment has often been misunderstood as an end-point rather than part of the learning process. Drawing on the concept of Formative Action from Dutch organisation Toetsrevolutie, this session shows how combining WalkThrus with formative practices places the emphasis firmly on what teachers and students do next - turning insight into powerful action during the learning sequence.
