MEMBERS’ CREATIONS.

One of the joys of using google tools for WalkThrus materials is that they are highly configurable and editable. Many of our members have used the google functionality to create their own documents to support the dissemination of ideas or to support their CPD cycles. Here are some examples.

They might serve as inspiration for making your own.

NICOLA’S ROSENSHINE MAPPING.

Nicola Cole from Longdendale High School makes regular newsletters featuring WalkThrus ideas for her staff as part of their wider CPD programme.

Here she has shown how each of the 10 Rosenshine Principles of Instruction can be put into practice using some WalkThrus from across all three volumes. You can download a pdf here.

PRIORY BOOKLET.

Jason Edwards from The Priory Community School  has produced this superb 24-page booket to support their work. It’s a very comprehensive compilation of key ideas with space for teachers to record their ideas during their training and coaching.

An example can be downloaded here.

MAKE YOUR OWN.

One of our intentions from the outset was to support teachers to make their own WalkThrus. We couldn’t think of everything! This is explained in volume 3.

As part of his work at Heolddu Comprehensive School, Matt Stone and his colleagues made a series of their own WalkThrus. Here they are simple steps 1-2-3-4-5 but you could also add your own illustrations to bring the steps alive.
